Plymouth is a mid-size car brand of the Chrysler Corporation. It was founded in 1928. The Plymouth trademark was created in 1927. It mainly produced automobiles priced lowly. So it could take up the low-priced vehicle market. The first model was completed on June 11, 1928. And it was widely sought after by customers because of its powerful 4-cylinder engine. It was withdrawn from the market in 2001. The Plymouth cars produced at that time were either discontinued or renamed.

From 1930 to 1989, many types of vehicles were invented. It had the Model U sedan. 1931 saw the introduction of the PA with eight different body styles. In 1932, it created 6-cylinder PB and PD. 1940 saw the development of the 15S. In 1956, Plymouth introduced the BELVEDERE. The FURY showed itself in 1960. The Barracuda hatchback appeared in 1964. In the fall of 1983, Plymouth rolled out the Voyager. It was a small wagon that not only created an entirely new model in the U.S. auto market but also became an almost unbelievable moneymaker. In 1984, the head office made a record profit of $2.4 billion. It also got another $3 billion in the next two years.

Masterpieces of Plymouth

From 1990 to 2001, it had undergone a great change. The 1992 Laser coupe was also a big hit. In 1993, Plymouth launched two economy types: the Sundance and the Acclaim. The Acclaim had more horsepower and was a favorite among motorists. And then the Prowler was launched. It was a truly American sports car, representing the cultural qualities of the United States. In 1998, Chrysler merged with Daimler-Benz to form the new Daimler Chrysler Corporation. And the Plymouth division was established. However, one of the largest mergers in automotive history failed to produce the most powerful aircraft carrier in the industry. The merger's huge losses threatened the safety of the entire group at times. Plymouth was phased out by the end of 2001. And its classic Voyager minivan has now been replaced with the big brand.

Although the production was discontinued, there is a commitment. There will be no change of service to all existing Plymouth customers worldwide. And the availability of aftermarket parts will not be terminated. So car and truck replacement parts and accessories still can be found online and at stores.
