Autobest® Mechanical Fuel Pump F9753M

Autobest Mechanical Fuel Pump are featured as follows:

• Operates through the engine's camshaft or push rod, pumping fuel mechanically to the carburetor.
• Ideal for carbureted engines, providing consistent fuel pressure without electrical power.
• Simple, reliable, and easy to maintain compared to electric pumps.
• Cost-effective and durable, making it suitable for older vehicles.
• Limited efficiency under high-load conditions and not compatible with fuel-injected systems.

The Mechanical fuel pump F9753M is designed for carbureted engines, where it delivers fuel from the gas tank to the carburetor. Driven by the engine’s camshaft or crankshaft, the pump uses a lever mechanism to create the necessary pressure to move fuel. It is ideal for low-pressure systems, commonly found in older and classic vehicles. Unlike electric fuel pumps, mechanical pumps do not require an external power source, making them simpler to install and maintain. They may not provide the higher pressure needed for modern fuel-injected engines. Mechanical fuel pumps are typically used in vintage cars, trucks, and some off-road vehicles, offering reliability and cost-effectiveness in those applications.
