FAQ for Abs Control Module Repair

Q: How do you remove the electronic brake control module?
A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the four T-25 Torx screws that fasten the EBCM to the BPMV, and partially remove the EBCM from the BPMV enough to access the electrical connectors. Then you can disconnect the four electrical connectors from EBCM and fully remove the EBCM from the BPMV.

Q: How do you install the electronic brake control module?
A:
You need to install EBCM onto the BPMV, connect the four electrical connectors to the EBCM, and install the four new T-25 Torx screws in the EBCM. Then connect the negative battery cable, revise the tire calibration using the scan tool and return to a diagnostic system check.
