A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable and relieve the fuel system pressure. Drain the fuel tank and remove the fuel tank. Then remove the fuel sender assembly retaining ring and the fuel sender assembly and the seal. Finally, we clean the fuel sender sealing surfaces.

A:
We need to disconnect the negative battery cable. Relieve the fuel system pressure and drain the fuel tank. Next, we need to remove the fuel tank and the fuel sender assembly. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector and remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector retaining clip. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector and remove the fuel level sensor retaining clip. Finally, we squeeze the locking fangs and remove the fuel level sensor.
