Q: How do you install the drive belt tensioner?
A:
You need to install the Belt Tensioner assembly, the attaching bolt, and the drive belt.
Q: What is the installation procedure for the camshaft?
A:
You will need to install the Camshaft, the components removed from the front of the engine, the water pump, the A/C condenser, the radiator, the hood latch bracket, the radiator grille, the engine cooling fan, and the upper fan shroud. Then connect the battery negative cable, recharge the air conditioning system and replace the engine oil filter.
Q: How do you install the drive belt?
A:
You need to route the belt over all the pulleys except the Drive Belt tensioner and observe belt routing for vehicles without air conditioning, observe belt routing for vehicles with air conditioning and install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner and rotate the drive belt tensioner arm counterclockwise. Then you can install the belt over the drive belt tensioner pulley, slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner and confirm that the belt is properly routed.
