You need to raise the vehicle first and remove the right side wheel drive shaft. Then you should disconnect the inner axle shaft from the differential case side gear and remove the bolts, the nuts, and the washers from the inner axle shaft housing. After that, you should remove the inner axle shaft housing to the differential carrier assembly bolts and remove the inner axle shaft and housing from the differential carrier assembly. Finally, you need to remove the inner axle shaft from the inner axle shaft housing, then you can remove the inner axle seal and the bearing from the axle housing.

The recommended torque is 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.).

You need to prepare a J33799 Clutch Fork Housing Seal Installer.

You need to note that the thrust washers, the clutch fork sleeve, and the clutch fork inner axle shaft must not fall out and be damaged.

You need to clamp the inner shaft housing in a vise and clamp only on the mounting flange. Then you need to strike the inside surface of the axle shaft with a hammer and a brass drift to dislodge the clutch gear from the inner axle shaft. Finally, you can remove the clutch gear.
