Q: How to remove the EVAP Canister Vent Valve (4-Door)?
A:
You need to turn OFF the ignition and raise the vehicle first. Then you need to remove the underbody mounted spare tire, and disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent valve harness connector. After that, you need to disconnect the vent hose from the EVAP canister vent valve and release the tang on the vent bracket. Finally, you can remove the vent valve from the bracket.

Q: How to remove the EVAP Canister Vent Valve (2-Door)?
A:
You need to raise the vehicle and lower the underbody-mounted spare tire. Then you need to remove the shield from the fuel tank shield and disconnect the vent valve electrical connector. After that, you should disconnect the vent hose and bend back the tang on the bracket. Finally, you can remove the vent valve from the bracket.
