Q: How to remove the Shift Solenoid?
A:
You need to remove the transmission oil pan and filter, and the 1-2 accumulator. Then you need to disconnect the internal wiring harness electrical connectors and remove the pressure control solenoid retainer, the pressure control solenoid, the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoid retainers, and the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoids. Finally, you need to remove the 3-2 control solenoid retainer and the 3-2 control solenoid.

Q: How to remove the Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Actuator?
A:
You need to disable the SIR system and remove the steering column trim covers. Then you need to disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator electrical connector and put the shift lever clevis into the neutral position. After that, you need to use a small screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator away from the steering column jacket and the cable shift cam assembly. Finally, you can remove the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator.
