Q: How to service the evaporator core?
A:
You shall ensure that the plenum that draws air from the outside is clear of all debris, disable the A/C compressor clutch operation, dry the evaporator core, drill a 3 mm (1/8 in) hole in a location that does not interfere with the blower motor, the evaporator, or any operating part in the system, insert the extension tube of the deodorizer GM P/N 12377951 into the hole past the mark on the tube, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, seal the hole in the duct, turn the ignition to the START position, idle the engine for 15-20 minutes, and reconnect the air conditioning compressor clutch coil.

A:
You shall install the evaporator core, the pipe insulator, and the auxiliary case, connect the auxiliary refrigerant hoses and the electrical connectors and install the right rear quarter trim panel.

Q: How to remove the auxiliary evaporator core (4-door)?
A:
The proper way is to remove the rear quarter interior trim, disconnect the auxiliary refrigerant hoses from the auxiliary evaporator, and the electrical connectors, and remove the evaporator case cover, the pipe insulator, and the evaporator core.
