You shall disconnect the negative battery terminal, and remove the engine front cover and the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring.

01/11/2022Q: How to install the crankshaft position timing ring?
A:
The proper way is to install the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring, align the keyway on the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring with the woodruff key (crankshaft balancer) in the crankshaft, push the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring onto the crankshaft until completely seated against the crankshaft sprocket, and install the engine front cover and the negative battery terminal.
