Q: How to reset the Idle air control motor (IAC) valve with a scan tool?
A:
You shall connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC), turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF, select the IAC Reset in Special Functions, activate the reset function and wait for the IAC counter to stop, and start the engine.
