If a clamp-type Pitman Arm is used, you shall spread the pitman arm just enough with a wedge to slip the arm onto the pitman shaft, and do not spread the pitman arm more than required to slip over the pitman shaft with hand pressure.
Q: How to install the leading/trailing drum brakes?
A:
The proper way is to install the Wheel Cylinder, the bolts, the inlet pipe, and the shoes and linings, and bleed the brake system.
Q: How to install the vacuum brake booster hose?
A:
You shall route the hose in the same position as it was prior to removal, and install the hose to the fitting on the engine and the fitting on the Brake Booster.
