The procedure is to remove the air cleaner and duct assembly and the cross vehicle brace, recover the refrigerant, remove the vacuum brake booster and the liquid line, raise the vehicle, remove the lower air deflector, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the liquid line nut at the condenser, lower the vehicle, remove the liquid line nut at the orifice, disconnect the transmission shift cable retainer, remove the liquid line and remove and discard the O-rings.

A:
You can install the new O-ring seals, install the suction line into place, install the suction line into the block fitting, install the suction line block fitting bolt, install the suction line to the accumulator, install the liquid/suction line bracket and the brake modulator bracket, evacuate and recharge the system, inspect the A/C system for leaks, install the cross vehicle brace and install the air cleaner and duct assembly.

The procedure is to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the air cleaner and duct assembly and the cross vehicle brace, recover the refrigerant, remove the compressor hose nut from the condenser and the accumulator, raise the vehicle, remove the lower air deflector, remove the nut from the compressor hose assembly, remove the compressor hose assembly from the rear of the compressor and remove the compressor hose assembly.
