FAQ for Abs Control Module Repair
Q: How do you install the electronic brake control module?
A:
You can clean the BPMV surface with alcohol, install the EBCM and the four screws, connect the EBCM harness connector, push down the lock tab, move the sliding connector cover back in the home position to lock, insert red locking tab back in place, turn the ignition switch to the RUN position and perform the A Diagnostic System Check-ABS.

01/11/2022Q: What is the removal procedure for the electronic brake control module?
A:
The procedure is to turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, remove the red locking tab, push down the lock tab, move the sliding connector cover to the open position, disconnect the EBCM harness connector, brush off any dirt/debris that has accumulated on the assembly, remove the four EBCM to BPMV screws and separate the EBCM from the BPMV.
