A:
You can position the temperature valve electric actuator, align the slots in the electric actuator driver to the flats on the temperature valve shaft, slide the electric actuator driver onto the shaft, install the mounting bolts, connect the electrical connector, install the knee bolster and install the left instrument panel insulator.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the defroster actuator?
A:
The procedure is to remove the cross-vehicle beam, disconnect the vacuum lines, rotate the defroster valve lever fully rearward, insert a screwdriver between the bottom of the defrost valve lever and the protruding wall of the HVAC module case, lift to release the defroster vacuum actuator retaining tab, rotate the defroster vacuum actuator upward and forward, disconnect the vacuum actuator pushrod and remove the vacuum actuator.

You can remove the right instrument panel insulator, remove the instrument panel compartment, disconnect the vacuum line, lift to release the air inlet vacuum actuator retaining tab, disconnect the vacuum actuator plunger rod and remove the vacuum actuator.

The procedure is to remove the left instrument panel insulator and the instrument panel driver knee bolster, cut the tie strap on the back side of the mode valve vacuum actuator, remove the vacuum lines, rotate the mode vacuum actuator towards the front of the vehicle, disconnect the vacuum actuator pushrod and remove the actuator.
