Q: How do you install the ignition switch lock cylinder?
A:
You can code the ignition lock cylinder, insert the key, turn the lock cylinder to the ON/RUN position, position the lock cylinder to the ignition switch, turn the key to the OFF position, remove the key, install the I/P cluster trim plate, connect the negative battery cable and perform the BCM theft deterrent relearn procedure.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the ignition switch lock cylinder?
A:
The procedure is to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate, insert the key, turn the ignition lock cylinder to the ON/RUN position, depress and hold the detent on the ignition lock cylinder, pull to remove the lock cylinder, remove the key and follow the procedure in the ignition switch replacement.
