Q: What is the proper way to install the rocker arm assembly?
A:
You can blow oil out of the tapped holes in the cylinder head, lubricate the ends of the push rod(s) with new engine oil, install the push rod(s), install the valve rocker arm guide plate(s), install the valve rocker arm(s), apply GM P/N 12345493 thread lock or equivalent to the rocker arm pedestal retaining bolt threads, install the rocker arm pedestal retaining bolt(s), install the valve rocker arm cover(s) and inspect the valve train for noise.

Q: How do you replace the rocker arm assembly?
A:
You can remove the valve rocker arm cover(s), the valve rocker arm bolt(s), the valve rocker arm(s), the valve rocker arm guide plate, and the push rod(s) and clean the push rod(s), the valve rocker arm(s), the bolt(s) and the guide plate(s) and clean the valve rocker arm bolt(s) of all thread adhesive.
