Q: What is the proper way to install the exhaust camshaft and lifter?
A:
The proper way is to install the camshafts, install the camshafts aligning the guide pins with the notches on the cylinder head, install the dowel pins to the cylinder head, install the camshaft bearing caps, install the exhaust camshaft sprocket and the timing chain, and then install the timing chain housing.
