FAQ for Fuel Level Sensor Repair

Q: How to repair the SIR/SRS wire?
A:
The proper way is to open the harness, cut as little wire off the harness as possible, select the properly sealed splice sleeve according to the wire size, place the splice sleeve in the nest, insert the wire into the splice sleeve barrel until the wire hits the barrel stop, close the handles of the crimp tool until the crimper handles open when released, and then gradually move the heated barrel to the open end of the tubing.
