Q: What is the procedure for the fuel pressure release?
A:
The procedure is to loosen the fuel filler cap to relieve any fuel tank pressure, remove the fuel pump relay from the junction box, crank the engine, allow the engine to start and stall, crank the engine for an additional 3 seconds, disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid re-pressurizing the fuel system, install the fuel pump relay to the junction box, and then tighten the fuel filler cap.
