A:
The proper way is to apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the roller pivot pocket and valve slot areas of the camshaft followers, place the camshaft followers in position on the valve tip and the SHLA and then install the left camshafts.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the crankshaft balancer?
A:
The procedure is to remove the cooling fan drive belt, remove the cooling fan, remove the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt using the J8614-01 to prevent crankshaft rotation when loosening the bolt, and then remove the crankshaft pulley.
