The procedure is to remove the air cleaner hose, remove the 1 bolt and the accelerator cable bracket from the intake manifold, remove the cables from the throttle body bellcrank, remove the PCV hose from the intake manifold, remove the 2 bolts and the intake manifold front support bracket, and then remove the intake manifold gasket from the cylinder head.

The proper way is to inspect the accelerator pedal free play with the throttle valve closed, loosen the accelerator cable locknut at the Throttle Body bracket, turn the accelerator cable adjusting nut in order to obtain the specified accelerator pedal free play, make the accelerator pedal free play is within the specified value, install the accelerator cable locknut, tighten the accelerator cable locknut to 23 N.m (17 lb-ft), and then adjust the height of the accelerator pedal stop (1) in order to obtain the specified accelerator cable end play.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the air filter element?
A:
The procedure is to release the 4 retaining clips on the air cleaner cover, disconnect the EVAP system vent hose from the air cleaner cover, lift the air cleaner cover, and then remove the Air Filter element.

A:
