Q: What is the proper way to install the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor?
A:
The proper way is to lubricate the seal on the MAP sensor vacuum port with clean engine oil, install the MAP sensor into the intake plenum, secure the MAP sensor to the intake plenum with the 2 bolts, and then connect the electrical connector to the MAP sensor.
