The proper way is to install the drive shaft inner seal to the knuckle, install the drive shaft outer seal to the knuckle, install the knuckle to the ball stud, install a new nut to the lower control arm ball stud, install the wheel spindle to the knuckle, install the wheel hub, the bearings, and the seals, install the tire and wheel assembly, install the tire and wheel assembly, and then measure the wheel alignment.

You should use the proper tools to support the lower control arm to prevent personal injury and/or component damage.

Q: How to remove the steering knuckle?
A:
The proper way is to remove the tire and wheel assembly, remove the hub with the bearings and the seals, remove the spindle with the drive shaft bearing from the knuckle, remove the 2 nuts and the 2 bolts from the strut bracket, remove the front drive shaft outer seal from the knuckle, and then remove the front drive shaft inner seal from the knuckle.
