Q: How to remove the tie rod boot?
A:
The proper way is to raise and support the vehicle, remove the outer tie rod, remove the boot clip, remove the boot band, and then remove the boot from the inner tie rod.

Q: How to install the tie rod end?
A:
The proper way is to install the tie rod lock nut to the match mark on the inner tie rod, install the outer tie rod end to the inner tie rod, install the outer tie rod end to the knuckle, and then install the tire and wheel assembly.

Q: How to remove the tie rod end?
A:
The proper way is to remove the tire and wheel assembly, remove the outer tie rod nut from the knuckle, disconnect the outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle using the J24319-B, loosen the tie rod lock nut and remove the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod, and then inspect the outer tie rod ball joint.
