2000 Chevrolet Venture Control Arm Bushing

You should install the lower control arm vertical bushing in the original position to maintain the original vehicle ride, handling, and road feel.

You should support the control arm forward of the coil spring, remove the control arm bolts, lower the rear axle, and then remove the control arm bushing.

First, you should install the bushing and raise the rear axle. Next, you should install the control arm bolt and remove the utility stand.

The bushing must extend 9.8 mm (0.39 inch) from the control arm.

You should insert the bushing into the control arm, assemble the bushing installation tools, and tighten the J21474-4 until the bushing is fully seated in the control arm. Next, you should disassemble the bushing installation tools and then install the lower control arm.
