First, you should remove the throttle body air inlet duct, drain the engine coolant, and then disconnect the inlet radiator hose. Next, you should remove the following parts: the right engine mount strut bracket, the thermostat bypass pipe, the exhaust manifold heat shield, the exhaust manifold, and the exhaust manifold gasket.

First, you should remove the following parts: the windshield wiper motor cover, the throttle body air inlet duct, the accelerator cable bracket, the manifold air pressure (MAP) sensor, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve, the ignition module, the spark plugs wires, the evaporative emissions (EVAP) solenoid bracket, the catalytic converter, the exhaust manifold heat shield, and the exhaust manifold.

The recommended torque is 16 N.m (12 ft. lbs.).
