You should remove the intake air resonator fastener, remove the intake air resonator from the Throttle Body by pivoting the intake air resonator upward until the hinge clip releases from the lip on the throttle body, disconnect the IAC valve harness connector and the TP sensor harness connector, remove the cruise control cable, the accelerator cab, the cable mounting bracket, the air cleaner adaptor stud, the throttle body fasteners, the throttle body assembly, remove and discard the flange seal.

You should open the hood, raise the vehicle, remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil into a suitable container, remove the Oil Filter from the engine block and clean the drain plug and oil filter sealing surfaces.

Aspecial anti-seize compound is used on the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) threads. The compound consists of liquid graphite and glass beads. The graphite tends to burn away, but the glass beads remain, making the sensor easier to remove. New or service replacement sensors already have the compound applied to the threads. If the sensor is removed from an engine, and if for any reason it is to be reinstalled, the threads must have an anti-seize compound applied before the reinstallation.
