Q: How do I install the Steering Damper?
A:
You should install the shock absorber, the mounting bolt, and the nut, install the lower ball stud to the relay rod, install the nut and allow a maximum torque of 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) to align the cotter pin slot and install the cotter pin.

Q: How do I remove the Steering Damper?
A:
You should remove the relay rod and cotter pin, the shock absorber lower ball stud nut, remove the shock absorber lower ball stud from the relay rod, remove the shock absorber mounting bolt nut, remove the mounting bolt, remove the shock absorber, inspect the shock absorber for leaks and damage and the mounting bolts and nuts for damage or corrosion.
