A:
You should remove the intake air resonator fastener, remove the intake air resonator from the throttle body by pivoting the intake air resonator upward until the hinge clip releases from the lip on the throttle body, disconnect the IAC valve harness connector and the TP sensor harness connector, remove the cruise control cable, the accelerator cab, the cable mounting bracket, the air cleaner adaptor stud, the throttle body fasteners, the throttle body assembly, remove and discard the flange seal.

You should install the accelerator cable to the dash panel, install the accelerator cable to the accelerator pedal, install the accelerator cable to the cable routing bracket, install the accelerator cable to the accelerator cable bracket and install the accelerator cable to the throttle body lever.

Q: How do I remove the Throttle Body?
A:
You should remove the intake air resonator from the throttle body, and inspect the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate for deposits, clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate using a clean shop towel with GM Top Engine Cleaner, P/N 1052626 or AC-Delco Carburetor Tune-Up Conditioner, P/N X66-P, or an equivalent product, remove and disassemble the throttle body for cleaning if the deposits are excessive. After disassembly, you should clean the throttle body using a part cleaning brush, assemble and install the throttle body if previously done, and install the intake air resonator.

You should install lean the seal surface on the intake manifold, install a new flange seal, install the throttle body assembly, the throttle body assembly retaining fasteners, the air cleaner adaptor stud, the cable mounting bracket, the accelerator cable, and the cruise control cable, connect the TP sensor harness connector, the IAC valve harness connector and install the intake air resonator and depress and release the accelerator pedal to check for binding.
