The removal procedure is to remove the armrest by rotating it to the down position, slip a pair of snap-ring pliers between the seat and the armrest, ensure that the snap-ring pliers go between the arms of the snap plate, keeping the armrest plate arms open, pull the armrest straight back off the seat post.

A:
The installation procedure is to install the armrest cover and the retaining clip with the opening facing down, insert the armrest into the seat back until the armrest retaining clip engages the groove on the armrest post, attach the halves of the J-hook along the bottom edge of the seat back then install the bucket seat.

A:
The removal procedure is to remove the bucket seat, place the seat in the fully upright position, release the J-hook at the bottom of the seat back, reach up and inside the seat back and remove the armrest retaining clip, slide the armrest assembly out of the seat back, remove the armrest cover for cleaning or replacement.
