Q: How to remove the auxiliary heater core?
A:
You will need to drain the engine coolant, remove the body side front lower trim panel, remove the clamps from the auxiliary heater pipes, disconnect the auxiliary heater pipes from the auxiliary heater module, then remove the screws and the band clamp from the right and left sides of the heater core, finally remove the heater core and the seals.

Q: What's the installation procedure for the heater core?
A:
The installation procedure is to install the heater core, the straps that retain the heater core to the heater case assembly, and the screws that retain the heater core to the heater case assembly, then tighten the screws that retain the heater core to the heater case assembly to 2 N.m (18 lb in), install the heater hoses, fill the cooling system, lastly ensure that no leaks exist in the cooling system.

The removal procedure is to drain the engine coolant, remove the heater hoses, the screws that retain the cover to the heater case assembly, and the straps that retain the heater core to the heater case assembly, then remove the heater core from the vehicle.
