Q: How to adjust the park brake cable?
A:
You can raise the vehicle, tighten the adjuster nut on the equalizer, and periodically turn the rear wheels by hand, until the rear brake shoes begin to contact the brake drums and a rubbing noise from the brake drums should be heard when this occurs, then fully apply and release the park brake lever to the floor three times. Now you can repeat step 2, loosen the adjuster nut on the equalizer two revolutions and lower the vehicle.
