Q: What's the removal procedure for the transfer case output shaft seal?
A:
The removal procedure is to raise the vehicle and remove the front propeller shaft, the exhaust crossover pipe, and the front output shaft seal. When you remove the front output shaft seal, you can remove the inner sleeve of the seal first to remove the seal from the transfer case, then remove the outer area of the seal after the removal of the inner sleeve of the seal.
