The removal procedure is to remove the three screws securing the automatic transfer case control module to the retainer, disconnect the two wiring harness connectors from the automatic transfer case control module, then slide the automatic transfer case control module straight out from the retainer.

Q: What's the installation procedure for the control module?
A:
The installation procedure is to install the automatic transfer case control module into the retainer with the three screws and tighten the screws to 6 Nm (53-inch lbs.), connect the two wiring harness connectors to the automatic transfer case control module then start the engine and test the automatic transfer case system for proper shift operation.
