Q: What should be noticed when I install the cooler lines to the vehicle?
A:
You will need to ensure that the cooler line being installed has a plastic cap on each end that connects to a quick-connect fitting. If no plastic cap exists, or the plastic cap is damaged, obtain a new plastic cap and position it on to the cooler line before the cooler line installation.

Q: What should not be done when installing the transmission oil cooler line to the vehicle?
A:
You mustn't reuse any of the existing oil lines or oil line fittings if there is any excessive corrosion or reuse any of the existing retaining rings that were removed from the existing quick-connect fittings. All retaining rings being installed must be new.

Q: What's the removal procedure for the control module?
A:
The removal procedure is to remove the three screws securing the automatic transfer case control module to the retainer, disconnect the two wiring harness connectors from the automatic transfer case control module, then slide the automatic transfer case control module straight out from the retainer.
Q: What's the recommended torque for the oil pan to transmission case bolts?
A:
The recommended torque is 11 Nm (97-inch lbs.).
Q: How to verify good continuity in a circuit with a DMM?
A:
You can set the rotary dial of the DMM to the Ohm position, disconnect the power feed (i.e. fuse, control module) from the suspect circuit, then disconnect the load, press the MIN MAX button on the DMM, connect one lead of the DMM to one end of the circuit to be tested, and connect the other lead of the DMM to the other end of the circuit. If the DMM displays low or no resistance and a tone is heard, the circuit has good continuity.
