A:
You can coat the threads with sealer GM P/N 9985253 or equivalent, install the ECT sensor, connect the ECT harness connector to the ECT sensor, and refill the cooling system.

A:
The recommended torque is 20 N.m (15 lb-ft).

Q: How to remove the water pump?
A:
You can drain the cooling system, remove the accessory wiring junction block and Water Pump pulley bolts, remove the drive belt, the water pump pulley bolts, water pump pulley, power steering pump mounting bolts, the water pump bolts, water pump, and the water pump gasket.
Q: How to remove the coolant level sensor?
A:
You can disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable, drain the radiator, disconnect the electrical connector from the Coolant Level Sensor, lift one leg of the snap clip from its locked position and pull outward with a slight twisting motion, and remove the coolant level sensor.
Q: How to install the radiator cooling fan motor?
A:
You can install the Cooling Fan Motor, the cooling fan motor bolts, the cooling fan blade, the cooling fan blade nut, the cooling fan motor electrical connector(s), the cooling fan heat shield(s), and the cooling fan assembly.
