A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the air cleaner housing cover assembly, the PCM and harness from the PCM housing, and disconnect the PCM connectors.

You can reconnect the PCM connectors, reinstall the PCM and harness into the PCM housing, the air cleaner housing cover assembly, and reconnect the negative battery cable.

A:
You can apply the parking brake, shift the transmission into neutral, disconnect the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch electrical connectors, remove the manual shaft lever nut, the transmission control lever from the manual shaft, the transmission control lever from the manual shaft, and the PNP switch from the manual shaft.

Q: How to install the transmission position switch/sensor?
A:
You can install the PNP switch to the transmission manual shaft by aligning the switch hub flats with the manual shaft flats, slide the PNP switch onto the transmission manual shaft, and install the PNP switch bolts finger tight, J41364-A onto the PNP switch and the J 41364-A from the switch.
