2001 Buick Regal Oil Pan

You can install the oil pan gasket and the oil pump pipe and screen assembly, the oil pan, the oil pan bolts, the oil level sensor, the torque converter cover, the engine mount bracket to the engine, the left engine mount bracket bolts to the engine, the right side frame bolts, the engine mount lower nuts to the frame, the oil level sensor wiring harness and the oil level sensor wiring harness bolt to the engine, the power steering oil cooler pipe brackets to the frame, the A/C compressor and the A/C compressor nuts, the new oil filter, the right side engine splash shield, the engine splash shield retainers, the right and left engine mount struts, the air inlet duct to the throttle body, and the fuel injector sight shield.

The recommended torque is 14 N.m (124 lb in).

The procedure is to remove the oil pan from the engine, the old RTV sealant from the engine block at the joint face sealing surfaces and the oil pan, and inspect the old RTV sealant from the engine block at the joint face sealing surfaces and the oil pan, clean the old RTV sealant from the engine block at the joint face sealing surfaces and the oil pan, install the oil pan gasket and windage tray assembly to the cylinder block, the oil pump pipe and screen assembly, the oil pan on the engine.

You can disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the fuel injector sight shield, the air inlet duct from the throttle body, the drive belt, the right and the left engine mount struts, the right exhaust manifold pipe stud nuts from the catalytic converter, the right front tire and wheel, the right side engine splash shield retainers and the engine splash shield, the A/C compressor nuts and the A/C compressor, the oil level sensor wiring harness bolt and reposition the oil level sensor wiring harness, the engine mount lower nuts from the engine mount, the left engine mount bracket bolts from the engine, the torque converter cover, the oil level sensor, the oil pan bolts, the oil pan, the oil pump pipe and screen assembly, and the oil pan gasket.
