Q: How to remove the axle/hub carrier?
A:
You can raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly, scribe the strut to the knuckle, disconnect the ABS electrical connector from the wheel speed sensor, remove the brake caliper and bracket, the rotor, the rear wheel hub, and park brake assembly, disconnect the rear wheel spindle rods, the trailing arm, remove the rear suspension strut to knuckle bolts and the rear suspension knuckle.

You can remove the tire and wheel assembly, the front wheel drive shaft bearing, the front lower control arm ball stud, the outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle, the bolts connecting the strut to the knuckle, and the knuckle from the vehicle.
