You can open the rear compartment lid, rotate the high-mounted stop lamp socket(s) counterclockwise to release from the high-mounted stop lamp, and remove the bulb(s) from the socket(s).

Q: How to remove the brake lamp?
A:
You can open the rear compartment lid, remove the rear compartment convenience net, the visible plastic wingnut retaining the taillamp, the remaining plastic wingnuts retaining the taillamp, each lamp socket counterclockwise to release, and the taillamp housing assembly.

Q: How to install the brake lamp?
A:
You can install each lamp socket to the taillamp housing assembly, align and install the taillamp assembly to the rear body panel, the taillamp assembly plastic wingnut retainers, the corner of the rear compartment trim panel into position, the taillamp remaining plastic wingnut retainer, the rear compartment convenience net, and close the rear compartment lid.

You can install the bulb(s) to the high-mounted stop lamp socket(s), and the lamp socket(s) to the high-mounted stop lamp, rotate clockwise, and close the rear compartment lid.
