You need to line up the square-cut hole, insert the sensor into the housing, and install two new screws and the distributor rotor. Then you can install two rotor-hold-down screws, the shim washer, the tang washer, the round washer, and the driven gear. Then you can align the rotor segment, install the gear and align the white paint mark.

You need to remove the engine cover, align the white paint mark on the bottom stem of the distributor, and remove the two screws from the rotor. Then you need to remove the rotor, and the two screws, discard the screws, and the camshaft position (CMP) sensor. Next, you need to support the distributor drive gear, drive out the roll pin, and remove the driven gear, the round washer, the tang washer, the shim washer, and the old oil seal.
