2001 Chevrolet Astro Exhaust Manifold

After removing the engine cover, you can disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor and raise the vehicle. Then you can remove the left front tire, the left fender wheelhouse extension, the catalytic converter assembly, the valve inlet pipe, the spark plug wires, the spark plug wire support bolts, the spark plug wire support, and the front 4 exhaust manifold bolts through the wheelhouse. Then you can remove the rear exhaust manifold bolts and the exhaust manifold, gaskets, and spark plug wire shields. After that, you can clean all gasket surfaces.

You need to assemble the new gaskets, the spark plug wire shields, and the bolts to the exhaust manifold. Then you can install the exhaust manifold, the spark plug wires, the spark plug wire support and bolts, the valve inlet pipe, the catalytic converter assembly, the fender wheelhouse extension, and the left front tire. After lowering the vehicle, you can connect the ECT sensor electrical connector and install the engine cover.
