You need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly, remove the spindle nut dust cap, remove the spindle nut, remove the spindle nut and washer, release the parking brake, remove the backing plate plug, insert a screwdriver into the backing plate plug, push the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow, remove the drum, secure the J 34866 to the drum, and inspect the brake drum and the brake components.

Q: How to install the brake drum (Hub Design With ABS)?
A:
You need to put a flat screwdriver between the rod and the ratchet, move the brake shoe stopper back to its original position, install the drum, secure the drum with two screws, install the tire and wheel assembly, lower the vehicle, press the brake pedal three to five times to obtain proper drum-to-shoe clearance, and adjust the parking brake.

You need to raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly and the 2 screws, release the parking brake, remove the backing plate plug, insert a screwdriver into the backing plate plug until it contacts the shoe lever stopper, push the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow, insert two 8 mm (0.3 in) bolts into the drum, remove the drum from the hub, inspect the brake drum and components.
