Q: What is the removal procedure for the oil pan?
A:
You need to raise and correctly support the vehicle, place a drain pan under the engine oil pan to catch the oil, remove the engine oil drain plug and the gasket to drain the engine oil, remove the lower engine splash shield on the right-hand side, remove the crank sensor bolt, the crank sensor, the crank sensor harness, the sixteen bolts and the two nuts, the engine oil pan, the oil strainer, and the O-ring, and clean the inside of the engine oil pan, the oil pump strainer screen, the mating surfaces of the engine oil pan and the lower cylinder block.
