Q: What is the removal procedure for the parking brake cable?
A:
You need to remove the parking brake lever trim bezel, loosen the adjuster nut on the parking brake lever assembly, remove the parking brake cable from the parking brake lever assembly equalizer plate, raise and support the vehicle, remove the rear tire and wheel assemblies, the two guide brackets from the cable, the cable grommet, the drums, and the parking brake cable, and squeeze the parking brake cable retainer, and remove the parking brake cable from the backing plate.
