A:
You should remove the propeller shaft, wire brush the affected area, wipe clean the affected area, and install the propeller shaft, apply chassis lubricant at the slip spline grease fitting until the grease begins to escape through the vent hole.

You need to raise the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly, the brake drums, the rear axle housing cover and the gasket, the pinion shaft locking bolt, the pinion shaft, and the shaft part way, enter the differential case and rotate the lock, push the flange of the Axle Shaft toward the differential, remove the C-lock and the axle shaft, and inspect all the parts.
Q: What should we do if you do not completely remove the bearing cup?

You should lift the cross and insert J 9522-5 between the seal and the bearing cup you are removing and continue to press the bearing cup out of the yoke.
