FAQ for Fuel Tank Vent Valve Repair

Q: What procedure must be performed to cap the tank fittings to prevent freeze damage to the till line and the FTP?
A:
You need to remove the FTP sensor (front tank only), install a fitting and cap supplied from the J 42435 into the FTP port, disconnect the tank-to-tank fuel line (front tank only) or the fill line hose (rear tank only), and install a cap supplied from the J 42435 onto the fuel outlet port fitting.
