You should turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool, leave the lamp switch off until the bulb change is complete, wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb, handle the bulb only by its base, keep dirt and moisture off the bulb, properly dispose of the used bulb and keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.

You need to pry on the dome lamp lens to disengage the retaining tabs from the dome lamp housing, remove the bulb, pry on the map lamp lens to disengage the retaining tabs from the dome lamp housing, and remove the map lamp lens and the bulb.

You need to install the bulb to the socket, push in on the bulb and turn the bulb 1/4 turn clockwise, install the lens to the lamp assembly and install the screws retaining the lens to the lamp assembly.
