You need to position the cable, route the cable, install the cable grommet, the cable handle, the screws to the hood release handle, the left side hinge pillar trim panel, the cable to the retainer, and the cable to the hood latch, close the hood, and inspect the hood release cable.

You need to raise and support the hood, remove the cable, and the cable from the retainer, push the cable and the grommet into the cab, remove the left side hinge pillar trim panel and remove the screws retaining the cable handle, the handle, and the cable.
